Description
About This Product
The Fronius 3.15kWh Reserva Module AUS-NZis a high-voltage, DC-coupled lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery module designed to form the building block of a scalable home or small-business energy storage system. Each module delivers 3.15 kWh of usable capacity. Multiple modules can be stacked ‘ typically 2 to 5 modules per tower ‘ to create a battery stack providing 6.3 kWh up to 15.8 kWh storage. Multiple towers can also be paralleled (up to four towers) to support larger energy storage needs. The module is IP65 rated and suitable for indoor installations or protected outdoor areas, making it versatile for Australian and New Zealand conditions.

Who This Product Suits
This module is suited to households or small businesses with rooftop solar that want to gradually build a battery storage system. It’s ideal for owners who may want to start with a modest energy storage capacity and expand later ‘ for example, a homeowner installing 2 modules now and potentially increasing to 4’5 modules or more towers in the future. It also suits setups aiming for DC-coupled storage integrated with compatible hybrid inverters. Installers working on modular, upgradable solar-plus-storage systems will find it especially useful.

It’s ideal for solar owners who want to build their storage capacity in stages ‘ starting modestly and expanding over time. With LFP chemistry, a high-voltage DC-coupled design, IP65 rating, and a 10-year warranty, it balances safety, performance and scalability. Whether for a small home or larger installation, it allows installing and growing a battery system to match evolving energy needs.
Further Information From The Manufacturer
Converting solar energy, controlling, distributing and using solar energy – and now also storing solar energy: With the Fronius Reserva, the Austrian provider of solar electronics completes its product portfolio.
The Fronius Reserva is a high-voltage battery with DC coupling that guarantees almost loss-free charging and discharging performance. Capacities between 6.3 and 15.8 kWh are possible with two to five modules. The storage modules are stacked on top of each other like building blocks as a plug-and-play connection without the need for cabling. A total of up to four battery towers can be connected in parallel to achieve a maximum storage capacity of 63 kWh. The new battery storage system is optimally matched to the two hybrid inverters Fronius GEN24 Plus and Fronius Verto Plus and can therefore be seamlessly integrated into an existing photovoltaic system. The tried-andtested Solar.web app is all that is needed for visualization; no additional software is required. The Fronius Reserva status display also shows the current charge status and indicates if there is a fault.
